Brian D. Alexander

Founder and Managing Partner of Alexander & Associates, practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning & administration, probate and litigation, and all forms of business transactions. He received a BA in Anthropology from the University of California Santa Barbara and obtained his Juris Doctor from St John’s University School of Law, New York having graduated with the honor of Dean’s List. Mr. Alexander interned with the Department of Justice in the Office of Foreign Litigation while in law school. After law school, wanting to further expand his educational background, he attended the University of San Diego School of Law to obtain the post graduate degree of a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation. Mr. Alexander is licensed to practice in the State of California, US District Court and US Tax Court.

Throughout his career Brian D. Alexander has counseled individual clients in carrying out their testamentary intent, as well as preservation of their assets for future generations through properly drafted and funded trust instruments.

In addition, he has maintained a focus in the practice areas of estate planning, administration, probate, estate litigation, entity formation, business transactions and civil litigation. Over the past years Mr. Alexander has defended individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, and Board of Equalization from the initial stages of an audit through the Appeals process and filing petitions to dispute adverse determinations with the United States Tax Court.
